About Me

Chef Heather
I am Heather Casto, the Chef / Owner of The Chocolate Mousse Caterers. I am an alumna of The Culinary Institute of America, and have earned my Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Restaurant / Hospitality Management. I am also a nutritionist. I have honed my skills at many 5-star facilities such as The Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Long Island, NY, and the world renowned Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. I take pride in using my many technical skills and extensive culinary and nutritional education to create heart-healthy cuisine which combines vibrant flavor and superior nutritional value. My unique cooking methods and use of only the freshest elements enhances the intrinsic wholesomeness of all the ingredients. I can alter any of your favorite dishes to meet all of your dietary needs. My spouse, Geoffrey, is my business partner. You may see him around town driving our Mousse Mobile. We have handsome twin boys, Alek and Zackary. Our fuzzy children include a geriatric Black Lab, Macaroni and a middle aged cat, Frank Footer.
