       The Junior League of Poughkeepsie is a volunteer organization of women serving children and families in Dutchess County.  Their current focus is Childhood Obesity in the local region.  I will be discussing ways to help eliminate Childhood Obesity by getting our kids in the kitchen.  I will also be providing healthy and tasty samples.

        This is a sell-out event... the Taste of the Hudson Valley attracts the participation of more than 50 executive chefs who lead restaurants of regional distinction. Many, like myself, are graduates of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America right here in the Hudson Valley!

        The concept of the Taste of the Hudson Valley is simple – Every participating restaurant prepares two dishes each dish is then intimately paired with a world renowned wine.  The result is an epicurean delight of food and wine!
        Also included – a spectacular live and silent auction of fine art, rare wines, exclusive trips, celebrity autographed memorabilia and much, much more!  The mission is to provide an exceptionally unique food and wine pairing event that will benefit Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers
